Fusion is the materialization of human connection through the union of art, body, and emotion.
Inspired by the idea of embrace and protection, the ceramic corset brings to the surface two hands that wrap around the body, symbolizing touch—like a hug from behind. The skirt, knitted in crochet, reveals a network of veins in different colors and textures of yarn, representing circulation and the complexity of internal connections.
The entire costume is dominated by red—the color of blood and passion—to reinforce the idea of life, energy, and deep union.
Fusion brings forth a dialogue between the rigid and the flexible, the handcrafted and the corporeal, celebrating the strength that arises from blending and connecting diverse elements.
